DLC V3.1 update brief
The new DLC released version V3.1 on November 20, 2015, effective on the day of publication. The new version is an upgrade of the old version. The product category and performance requirements are basically in the V3.0 version, and will not affect the products that have been applied for or applied for under the V3.0 version. The main changes in the V3.1 version are reflected in the increase in some product categories that are more demanding by manufacturers and the market.
The added product categories are described below:
1, E39 lamp head HID replacement bulb (Lamp) products
Currently only TYPE B (built-in power supply) and TYPE C (with external power supply) are accepted. TYPE A (for products at the rear end of HID ballasts) is not accepted, and E26 lamp bulb products are not accepted.
It is necessary to specify the type of fixture to be installed and place it in the specified fixture type for testing. There are now 7 categories that can be used with the applicable fixtures. The performance requirements are consistent with the Standard rating requirements for the DLC-compliant luminaire category.
You can choose to apply for multiple categories at the same time, and you need to test them in multiple different categories of luminaire products.

2, non-cutoff (Non-cutoff) and semi-cutoff (Semi-cutoff) wall mounted area lighting
As long as the optical performance of the product reaches the requirements of the original wall-mounted area lighting fixture within a vertical angle of 0-90°, the DLC can be applied in accordance with this category. In the original standard, for products with an upward light emission requirement of not more than 3%, the full-cut type wall-mounted area lighting fixtures are modified in the current standard.
3. Expand the original TYPE C type 0.6 m and 1.2 m lamp product categories
The 1.2 m lamp in the original standard can only be installed in a 2 x 4 lamp tray for 2 lamps, and can be modified to be installed in a 2 x 4 lamp tray for 2, 3, and 4 lamps. The 0.6 m lamp in the original standard can only be installed in a 2 x 2 lamp tray for 3 lamps, and can be modified to be installed in a 2 x 2 lamp tray for 2, 3, and 4 lamps.
4, increased the replacement appliance products DLC recommended lamp type
