Recently, the Municipal Administration Office and Fu Neng New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. once again signed an LED energy-saving street lamp energy contract management agreement. At the end of 2015, the central city will add another 3,000 LED street lights, except for special locations such as bridges, culverts and squares. Other road lighting in the central city will be based on energy-saving and environmentally-friendly LED street lighting.
Since 2013, Nanyang has taken the back streets and lanes of Lianghua City as one of the people's heart projects and implemented the “Five Extensions†project of urban management. The focus of work extends from the main and secondary trunk roads to the urban back streets, urban and rural junctions, urban villages, community residential buildings and hidden corners. Up to now, the central city has replaced and installed LED energy-saving street lamps 16143ç›. According to the relevant person in charge of the Municipal Management Office, the newly added 3000-inch LED energy-saving street lamps will be installed in batches on new roads such as South Station Road, South Extension of Baihe Avenue and Xuefeng Road.
According to Yue Chaomin, deputy director of the Municipal Management Bureau of the Municipal Urban Management Bureau, by 2015, the LED street energy-saving street lamps in the central city will increase to 20,000 baht, and the energy-saving street lamps basically cover the main secondary roads and back streets in the main city. Nanyang has also become the first city in the province with LED lights reaching 20,000 baht, becoming a street lighting energy-saving market, which is one of the best in the country. Nanyang is at the forefront of the province with its green street lighting concept, leading the development direction of urban lighting energy conservation.
