After the project is completed, residents, hotels and restaurants near Blue Jasmine Beach will be the beneficiaries, and it will also help the country's national security and tourism development.
The project is expected to cost US$2.31 million, and the United Arab Emirates has provided assistance to the project for US$623,700. Solar panel samples have also arrived in Freetown.
