The AS3665 has 9 LED channels with up to 25mA per channel. Each channel features independent 12-bit Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) control that delivers unparalleled smooth color effects for linear, logarithmic and proportional changes. The PWM generator has 3 sequencers and a 1.5Kb memory. This eliminates the need for external processors or interactive intervention when storing and processing amazing and complex light modes. The AS3665 makes it easy to implement instruction-based programming for a variety of light modes. To maintain true color while working, the AS3665 uses a variety of color correction features, such as automatic RGB color correction based on temperature.
The AS3665's audio sync function enables a colorful programmable light mode. With this feature, color LEDs can take advantage of the device's audio input, such as music or ring tones, to flicker, change, or change colors in a smooth and timely manner. The AS3665 can synchronize LEDs based on music input. The audio mode of the optical mode can be freely adjusted to achieve a freely differentiated effect and define a unique color response to suit any music type from heavy metal rock to soft melody.

To extend battery life, the AS3665 is designed to include a variety of power-saving features. With a 10mA drive current, each channel has a dropout voltage of less than 50mV and is powered by a highly efficient 150mA charge pump for automatic switching between 1:1, 1:1.5 and 1:2 modes. To further optimize the power consumption of the RGB LEDs, three of the nine channels offer programmable power supply switches that can be battery or CP powered for higher efficiency, ie red and blue/green LEDs use their respective power supplies.
To accelerate system implementation, the AS3665 also has the ability to easily implement pre-design with minimal software programming. In addition, the software tools provided support fast optical mode command development, making development as simple as drawing lines on paper. The software output is a compiled file that can be used immediately with the AS3665.

The AS3665 is available in a small 2.6x2.6mm 25-bump WL-CSP package that requires minimal external components.
