AMD Finalizes Bulldozer, Llano APU Shipment Time

According to industry sources, AMD has finally finalized the shipment time of two highly anticipated desktop processors. Players waiting for bulldozers and high-performance APU-accelerated processors have remained in the last three months.

According to AMD's schedule, the high-end AMD FX bulldozers, code-named Zambezi, will be officially shipped in the 25th week of 2011, June 20-24, and the AMD A series codenamed "Llano". The high-performance APU fusion processor followed two weeks later, the 27th of July 4-8. The two attacked one after another, which is expected to create a halo effect for the AMD processor product line.

AMD's internal documentation shows that AMD will launch a total of eight bulldozer processors this year, including four four-module eight-core FX8000 series, two three-module six-core FX-6000 series, and two dual-module quad-core FX- In the 4000 series, four of them will be launched in the second quarter, and the other four will not arrive until the fourth quarter of the year.

A series of APUs will have a variety of quad-core and dual-core models this year, but the exact number is unknown. At the launch of the Fusion APU China earlier this month, we once saw a quad-core APU product labeled A8-3510M. It is believed that the entire A series will adopt this naming scheme.

However, the official release date of the two major products has not yet been confirmed. Some people say that they may be on Computex 2011, and some people guess that they will be on E3. Anyway, it is all in early June.
