Longda Electronics (3698), a LED manufacturer of Taiwan's panel maker AUO Group, has developed a 4.5W LED bulb for the Japanese market. It is expected to attack the Japanese market in the near future.
Su Feng, general manager of Ronda, said that the light bulb is designed for the Japanese market, saving more than 80% of electricity compared with traditional incandescent bulbs, and the life of the bulb can reach 50,000 hours.
Su Feng also stressed the need to increase the proportion of Ronda's 2010 lighting revenue target to 20%.
