Or you can directly purchase a PC card that integrates a FAX/MODEM PC card and a wireless transceiver. Users only need to insert their own SIM card to achieve wireless data transmission of the laptop. This kind of PC card is only slightly longer than a regular PC card. It does not require a dedicated connection device, there is no restriction on the phone model, and the operation is simpler.

2, software simulation

The modem that the software simulates is also called “soft cat”. Compared with the PCMCIA method, after installing the data suite software, a software simulated modem will appear (ie PC card + corresponding driver = software simulation Modem). Selecting this software to simulate a modem can dial up to the Internet using a common program. After the dedicated software is installed, wireless data transmission and fax functions can be realized by connecting the notebook computer to the supporting mobile phone. The performance is equivalent to that of the PCMCIA card.

3, infrared mode

At present, general notebook computers support infrared transmission. If the mobile phone also supports infrared data transmission, even when the Internet is accessed, even the data cable can be omitted.
