Leading this project, Wei Zhihai, who heads the new energy automotive initiative at China National Heavy Duty Truck Group, shared the exciting journey. Back in December 2014, the company began its research and development in hydrogen fuel vehicles, eventually signing a collaboration deal with a Canadian firm. The first prototype was assembled in May this year and successfully passed more than a month of rigorous full-load testing. “This achievement in the realm of hydrogen fuel vehicles is undoubtedly a testament to our progress,†Wei Zhihai remarked confidently.
