Optoelectronics News Network: What kind of products are Ruifeng's LEDs currently divided into? What are the main application areas?
Gong Weibin: At present, Ruifeng LED mainly has three kinds of Chip LED, Top LED and high power LED. Chip LED is mainly used in mobile phones, small-size displays, and car displays; Top LEDs are used in displays, backlights, and decorative, and high-power LEDs are used in lighting. Among them, display products account for about 20%, decorative lighting products account for 50%, and the main market is in the Pearl River Delta region. Our backlight applications are mainly small and medium size, and the TV backlight is heavily invested. We have already cooperated with related major manufacturers.

Optoelectronic News Network: At present, high power is a hot spot. Ruifeng has also launched related products. What is the highest power efficiency of high-power LEDs? How do you see the high-power LED market?
Gong Weibin: Our high-power products are now divided into 1W and 3W. Now there are also modular LEDs. The modular LEDs are 5W and 10W, and we can achieve 120lm/W for light effects. High-power LEDs are mainly used in the field of street lamps and spotlights, but projects such as street lamps are driven by national policies. Relatively speaking, I am still optimistic about indoor lighting.

Optoelectronics News Network: Please introduce the new TOP LED 3528 white light products in detail? Is the 3000-hour zero attenuation the best in the country? Have you measured when it started to decay?
Gong Weibin: TOP LED 3528 is now being tested. It has not been attenuated for 5000 hours, but it should be a little bit faster. In fact, LED attenuation is related to many factors, such as packaged phosphor, silica gel, temperature, environment and power. Under vacuum, our analog LED chips decay to 70% at 50,000 hours. Ruifeng attaches great importance to the research and development of LED products, and has invested a lot. After years of construction, our R&D team has grown into a professional team including multidisciplinary senior talents. At present, we have introduced the developed silica gel technology into medium and small power LEDs. Now we are using modular design to solve the problems of LED light efficiency, heat dissipation and attenuation. Our fluorescent lamp and downlight solutions have been made. Ruifeng LED can apply these solutions.

Optoelectronic News Network: How does Ruifeng solve the LED thermal packaging technology?
Gong Weibin: LED packaging, heat is one of the key factors, the thermal resistance is as small as possible, the thermal resistance of LED products packaged by Ruifeng using ceramic plus eutectic technology is 6 °C / W, this LED has a long life. In addition, because of the small package, the low-power LED has higher thermal resistance than high-power LED products.

Optoelectronic News Network: What are the characteristics and unique advantages of your company's LED?
Gong Weibin: The characteristics of LED mainly include light efficiency, attenuation, color rendering index and reliability.

First of all, the light effect, Ruifeng's product light efficiency can achieve 120lm / W, small power can do better. Our phosphor technology is well-processed, and it has well treated the particle size and photoexcitation efficiency of the phosphor, and the matching of the phosphor and the wavelength has reached a certain level. Now the average luminous efficiency of Ruifeng's products is 20mA. Under current, it is 7.2lm/W, up to 9lm/W, and other companies in the same chip package are 6~6.5lm/W, we are about 10% higher than them.

Secondly, the attenuation and attenuation are related to the oxygen, water and gas of the LED. If the oxygen and moisture are isolated, the attenuation can be greatly reduced. Also in LED applications, that is, when reflow soldering, some fluxes contain sulfur, and sulfur also has a large effect on attenuation. Therefore, it is generally recommended not to use sulfur-containing flux.

The other is the color rendering index (Ra). The domestic focus on the color rendering index is not high. Japan and Europe and the United States pay more attention to the color rendering index. In the TV backlight, there are two ways of RGB backlight and white backlight. Nowadays, the white backlight is mainly used, which puts high requirements on the color rendering index of LED. The color rendering index and the light effect are contradictory. The improvement of the color rendering index is at the expense of light efficiency. Ruifeng is in the pursuit of the highest color rendering index, Ra>90.

Finally, reliability is an important feature. Ruifeng relies on advanced phosphor technology and uses different refractive indices of silica gel. The layered coverage method can greatly improve product reliability. Now Ruifeng is stepping up research and development and strive to do it. Come out with a product with better reliability. In addition, we will cooperate with some major international companies and may adopt the OEM model.

Optoelectronics News Network: From the company's product information, the company's main small size and SMD LED products, the current market share of the company's products is about? What is the status of the company in the same kind of domestic enterprises?
Gong Weibin: At present, Ruifeng's scale is 100KK, ranking second in China. At present, Ruifeng's output value is 200-300 million yuan. It is estimated that after two or three years, it will reach 1.0-1.5 billion yuan. SMD LED is 40% in the market and 60% in the traditional in-line mode. However, with the rise of the LED TV and mobile phone backlight market, the average number of mobile phones is 10, and the average number of LED-backlit TVs is 500. In this way, the patch application may account for 70% to 80%, and the in-line LED will be less and less.

Optoelectronics News: LED display, LED backlight and LED lighting are considered to be three carriages to promote the market. How do you view these markets? Where do you think LED's most potential market is? How does your company locate the main market?
Gong Weibin: Now the display market is growing at a rate of 10% to 20%. LED backlights, mainly for notebook backlighting and TV backlighting, have developed rapidly in recent years. Recently, Samsung, Sharp and LG and other international manufacturers have announced that they will enter the LED-backlit LCD TV field to form an LED TV product line. LED backlights will be explosive. growth of. However, the domestic market has not yet risen. Skyworth, Konka and other domestic TV manufacturers are also evaluating this market. It is expected that there will be some action before and after the National Day.

LED lighting, the main applications are spotlights, downlights, illuminating signs, etc. At present, piranha products in this market account for about 80% of the mainstream, and the patch accounts for 20%, but the SMD LED will have a big growth. In addition, the price is also the main problem of lighting. The products like Ruifeng are now 5~10 RMB 100lm/W, and will soon be 2 pieces. Our goal is to achieve 1 piece. In this way, with the explosive growth of LED backlights, the cost will drop rapidly. After two or three years, the backlight will drive LED lighting to achieve leap-forward development.

Optoelectronic News Network: The country is now vigorously developing the LED industry, but the LED industry still faces many problems. What is the most important problem for LEDs?
Gong Weibin: The biggest problem with LEDs at present is the two major problems of reliability and attenuation. Of course, patents are also a problem. In fact, reliability and attenuation can be well solved, such as Ruifeng to use modular design to solve. In addition, Philips is now laying out LED fixtures, and there may be patents for lamps in the future. In terms of LED chips, the market occupancy rate of LED chips used in domestic indoor display screens has exceeded that of Taiwan, but there is still a big gap in lighting.
