The control system turns off the illumination and avoids unnecessary energy consumption. Experts said that LED tunnel lighting has achieved good energy-saving effects. On the one hand, it benefits from the high luminous efficiency and low power consumption of semiconductor light-emitting diodes. On the other hand, the brightness of LED lights is adjustable, and the brightness of the tunnel can be adjusted in time. The project uses 858 sets of 51.64 kW LED lighting to replace the original 770 sets of 146.19 kW high-pressure sodium lamp illumination, effectively reducing power consumption; active filter device reduces damage to power equipment caused by unstable power supply quality; The lighting control system not only ensures the lighting requirements of vehicles, but also reduces the ineffective lighting when no vehicles pass. Compared with the original high-pressure sodium lamp scheme, the comprehensive power saving rate can reach 66%.
It is understood that the Beijing-Chengcheng Expressway will replace the existing 1957ç› high-pressure sodium lamp source with the energy-saving light source of the 1957ç› high-pressure sodium lamp in the Qiuwoliang Tunnel, Yinjiagou Tunnel, Hejiagou Tunnel, Tagou Tunnel and Tagou Tunnel No. 2, since the project was put into operation. The average monthly electricity saving is about 45,000 kWh, and the annual energy saving is 540,000 kWh.
At present, LED lighting and real-time traffic control technology have been applied in many tunnels such as Anhui Lu'an to Wuhan Expressway, Beijing-Taiwan Expressway and Hurong Expressway. Statistics show that electricity can be saved by 40% to 80%.
