GCL teamed up with Hon Hai to invest in LED packaging project in Yancheng, Jiangsu

Recently, Taiwan's Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd. and Hong Kong GCL (Group) Holdings Co., Ltd. invested in a new energy and photovoltaic industry project in Yancheng, Jiangsu, and a strategic cooperation framework agreement signed with the Yancheng government in Hong Kong.

According to the agreement, the two major groups will jointly develop new LED packaging, photovoltaic photovoltaic equipment manufacturing, polycrystalline silicon battery slicing and solar cell module projects in Yancheng City, and will take Yancheng Investment Project as their key strategic investment, priority protection and rapid construction. , strive to put into production as soon as possible.

Guo Taiming, Chairman of Hon Hai Group, said that together with GCL Group, Yancheng, the hometown of Zhu Xinshan, the chairman of GCL Group, will become a high-energy and photovoltaic industry development site at home and abroad.

The Yancheng Municipal Government stated that it will provide Taiwan's Hon Hai Group and Hong Kong GCL Group with better environment and better service in the investment and development of salt projects, and strive to achieve win-win cooperation. It will also be responsible for including the project in Jiangsu coastal development. The project will seek policy support from the state and the province in various aspects such as industry, finance, market, scientific research and talents.
