The Nut SC laser TV is made from aluminum alloy, making it more durable than Xiaomi’s plastic version. Laser TVs generate heat, and long-term exposure can cause plastic to degrade. Nut Smart has chosen a more reliable material, ensuring better safety and longevity.

**Visual Effects:**
Nut SC uses a higher percentage of red light (18%), comparable to cinema-grade displays. It employs a five-color wheel, providing brighter images and better color contrast and saturation than the four-color RGBW wheel.
To test real-world performance, I captured images directly from the screen without editing.
The test was conducted in the afternoon in Shenzhen, where daylight was strong. Although anti-glare curtains are ideal, I used white walls instead due to limited equipment.
This is a real shot taken during the day without pulling the curtain. The 4K TV color rendering is already impressive.

From the real shot, we can see that the image details are vivid and sharp, with excellent clarity. The DMD chip in the Nut SC contains over 2.07 million reflective lenses, which process different colors and brightness levels before being focused into the ultra-short focal length lens, resulting in a brilliant HD screen. The total number of colors reaches 1.07 billion, far surpassing HDTVs.
With 1024 gray levels, it offers four times the detail of 256 levels.
The Nut SC has a brightness of 2000 ANSI lumens. While Xiaomi’s similar-priced models claim 5000 lumens, their actual brightness is less than 1000 ANSI lumens. So, even in daylight, the Nut SC performs well.
For most users, this sound configuration is more than sufficient, even rivaling high-end audio systems. It also supports Bluetooth stereo, allowing easy connection to your phone for music playback.
**System and Performance:**
The Nut SC runs on Nut Smart’s JmGO OS system, which is user-friendly and packed with content. The latest JmGO OS 3.0 has a clean, minimalist design that appeals to many.
