The product was sold in the US Lighting Retail Store from June 2009 to March 2014 and is priced at approximately $20-100.
The recalled products were sold in the United States at approximately 9,500. Reason for recall: LED bulbs may overheat, fall, and pose a risk of bruising and burns to consumers. As of now, Halco has received five reports of accidents in which LED bulbs have fallen off the socket, but did not cause casualties.
To this end, the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) advises consumers to stop using the product immediately, remove the bulb from a fixed location, and contact Halco to replace the LED bulb for free.
