On the Tools menu in Outlook, click Options, and then click the Mail Format tab.
Clear the check box next to "Edit email with Microsoft Office Word 2003."
Click Apply and then click OK.
Create a mail template On the File menu in Outlook, point to New, and then click Mail.
Note: You can also open a new message by clicking the New Mail button on the Home toolbar.
