Printers commonly used on the market do not have drivers, so they are not connected. In fact, the task of the printing system software is to write the anti-drive software of the WINDOWS operating system, which is to enable the signals from the DCS operating station to be identified in the WINDOOWS environment. Then connect the commonly used printers through the WINDOWS driver.
The printing system software has to identify different data formats, because the printers of the DCS system operating stations that are connected to different models have their own data formats, such as ANSI format, IBM format, etc., before the printing system is connected to the operator station, find out its The data format makes this data format work in the WINDOWS environment.
The printing system software should write anti-drive software in a variety of data formats. In addition, the software for printing graphics and printing text is very different. Printing text only, the software is relatively simple, and the printed graphics are more complicated. For example, using HP printers to print graphics, first find out whether it is a dot matrix format or a page scan format. Most Hp printers are page scan mode. The software can interpret the PCL commands and the printer can print the graphics on the operator station screen. If it is not an HP printer, explain other instructions.
